    Vintage 1930's Art Deco Black Amethyst Nude Lady Compote Dish - L.E. Smith.  This listing is for ONE vintage (believed to be from 1930's) Art Deco Black Amethyst Compote/Candy Dish by L.E. Smith Glassware.  This dish is stunning with a Nude Lady in the stem and handpainted flowers on the base and was named "Carrie" by the manufacturer.  This is an RARE piece and hard to find.  It is in great shape for its age, no chips or cracks. There are two very small bumps on the inside rim that you see more by feel than by sight, believe these are from the manufacturing process.  It is used and when put up in the light you can see some scratches within the bowl.  please see pics to show the beautiful details of this gorgeous dish.  It measures approximately 7 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide.  This would make a great addition to any collection!!.  I only ship within the lower 48 united states.
