One of the most famous images in boxing history, this 16 x 20" black and white poster shows the finish of Rocky's devastating short right sledgehammer to Jersey Joe Walcott's head in the 13th round of their 1952 bout in Philadelphia.  Marciano became the new Heavyweight Champion that night, defended his title six times in the next three years and retired undefeated in 1956, with a record of 49-0.  He passed away in a small plane crash, over five decades ago in 1969, one day before he would turn 46 years old.
This is an authentic large format photo from Marciano's personal stash, signed in the early 1960's.
The black ball-point writing is in a great location in the center and is a 9.5/10 in strength and quality.  It just a beautifully scripted signature, made out to "Buddy & Chuck".  The poster itself is in Very Good to Excellent condition, with some minor horizontal wrinkling, common to this item due to the thinness of the stock.  I had a couple of these in the past, they are never perfect.  This example is as nice as I've seen.  In a vintage, black wood frame, the entire piece measures 17 x 21".
Looks even better in-person than my iPhone shots make it appear.
