Built based on various medieval illustrations and historic instrument construction principles. Excellent low action, correct string spacing at nut and bridge. Strung in Nylgut, to be played with a plectrum. Loud, plumby sound, perfect for accompanying singing of the medieval repertoire or playing in a medieval band.
Built up of european pearwood sides, walnut neck and pegbox, birdseye maple back. Wooden (pearwood) frets based on historic conjecture. 54cm string length.
Comes with a soft gig bag.
