Dead Fans !!! Native American style meets the Southwestern fashion here with this Grateful Dead Rock & Roll Vintage-Beauty ! The always-Classic! and now ... Beyond-Legendary !! " Downs of Santa Fe " ( Venue-Specific ! ) Grateful Dead Tour Shirt !! ... for the '82 Fall Tour New Mexico Show ! --- on 10/17/1982 !!! Wow ... I mean does this Shirt just exude " Rock & Roll ", or what ? Well, it sure does exude 1982 Grateful Dead ... Early-'80's Dead - in the Early-'80's " Sportswear Brand " Shirt Style!! As the famous Good Ol' saying fits in quite-well here ..... as " they just don't make'em 'quite' like this anymore ... anymore ! " A wild, cool & classic Early-'80's Rockin'-Bright-Purple! Color -- a jaw-droppingly-Artistic ! Native American style Southwestern " G.D. Lightning Blot " design by Dicken Scully -- and some Out of This Universe ... " Font " - that puts you right-back in your 1982-esque easy chair ... playing a little Atari ! - and Rockin' some G.D. through the headphones ... direct from your Nak LX-3 !!! Or, maybe even your Nak LX-5 ?!! Hah ! As naturally ... I think we were-indeed still " pre-Dragon ! " still here in '82. Gotta Love it. Speaking of Atari font, I even saw a special on the T.V. not too long ago - which talked about how all of the old unopened Atari Games were buried-alive ( in their boxes ) - somewhere down South, maybe in Cali or AZ ? I can't quite remember which ... but this I do remember - they claimed that " E.T. " was the worst Atari Game ever ... hmmm ? - and I'm not sure I really agree ?!? Alright ... well, either way the killer '82 Video Game Font ! on this Vintage-Beauty got me a little bit sidetracked here indeed ... but, take a look at these photos, and I'm sure you can side with me ... This Font Rocks !!! Heck, even the Oregon Ducks went with some " Atari-like " Video Game font on their Jersey #'s way back in like 2005. Still ! trying to get me one of those ... Ha ! But, let's face it - there was nothing " Retro " at all when this font was used on this Shirt design in the Fall of 1982 ... as that was all-about a true sign of the times, and the current-cool fashion style !!! Dang, I mean bright back the '80's! I say. So, my overall point being ... do you agree with me ? Is-this one of the Hottest ! Vintage-Original Grateful Dead Tour Shirts of All-Time ?!!! I think so ... my fellow Dead Fans - as this one is just Pure ! G.D. Rock & Roll from head-to-toe !!! Enjoy this Grateful Dead " Southwestern " Rock & Roll Treasure !!!!!

As this is a brand new (never worn/never washed & "Collected" only) vintage-original collectible shirt - here are the issues that stand out to my eye upon very close inspection :
>>> one (1) dark-brownish stain (approx. 1/2") on the shirt material fabric, located on the back bottom right side of the shirt (please see photos/close-up photo #10).
>>> white threads piece from the manufacturing process showing through the outside left shoulder, which can easily be carefully-cut/removed if so desired (please see photos).
>>> very-slight cracking of the design emblem images, and very-light signs of natural aging on the shirt material fabric from long-term storage - close to 35-years (please see photos).
Notes :
Regarding the ' white-threads piece ' ... this is actually a great-sign to the serious vintage Collector - as the presence of external threads like these from the vintage Early-'80's Shirt manufacturing process - still hanging-out as it is, in the place in which it is hanging out ( ' outside ' the shoulder ) -- just goes to show that this Shirt is still brand new, and has never been worn. Personally, I never-ever remove these from the vintage Shirts in my Collection - as finding these is actually an exciting sign of extra-rarity to me. Enjoy !!!
Please see all photos provided ... & Enjoy !!!
