    Description

Republic of Ghana One Cedi 24K Gold Aurum Note
PMG 70 First Day of Issue
Issued by the Bank of Ghana to commemorate African liberty in 24K gold, the Liberty gold Cedi is the first banknote in the world issued by a major government using Aurum gold technology. The image of African liberty was created by Joel Iskowitz, one of the most prominent numismatic and philatelic artists in the world today.
On the obverse is the nation of issue with a depiction of a Ghanaian woman. On the reverse is the Republic of Ghana coat of arms. This note will arrive safely in a currency sleeve with a certificate of authenticity.
An excellent gift choice! Pictures do not do this piece justice, they are eye poppers! This Aurum comes printed with high resolution, full-color text and graphics.
