    Description

You are viewing 2 beautiful pieces of depression glass in the Mt. Pleasant pattern, manufactured by Smith Glass between 1925-1934.  The pieces feature Art Deco cobalt blue glass with platinum rings on the sides.  These were an estate find, located in a box labeled "ashtrays".  One of the pieces is definitely an ashtray.  The other is a bowl.  Included in this listing is:
*Mt Pleasant Cobalt Blue Ashtray- 3.5" high and 5 1/8" in diameter.  Very good condition, with no chips or cracks.  Some excess glass at the mold lines, which cause rough spots.  Platinum is quite worn, which is typical for this pattern.  A very hard to find piece.
*Mt. Pleasant Cobalt Blue Round 3 Toed Crimped Bowl-3.5" high and 5.5" in diameter.  Very good condition and more refined and polished than the ashtray.  Some minor small surface scratches located in one area and 2 small fleabites on the inner rim.  See last picture for the scratches.  The flea bites are very difficult to see and too insignificant to photograph.
